Agent Athreya played by Naveen Polishetty, runs a detective agency by the name FBI in Nellore. He has recently lost his mother and still recovering from his loss. His assistant Sneha played by Shruthi together solves cases that are quite easy. Athreya longs for complicated cases. One day Athreya and Shrithi stumble upon a dead body near the railway tracks. Soon there are many more dead bodies discovered in the same place and Athreya tries to solve the mystery of these murders. When he feels he is about to solve, the case circumstances take a different turn and Athreya is distorted because the mystery is still solved; instead, the case gets more complicated than before.
There may be loopholes in the movie, but the audience has been engaged in such a way that they hardly get time to notice them. Naveen is superb in his debutant role and leaves a good impact on the audience. Shruthi’s acting is admirable too, but Naveen has been exceptionally good in his character of Agent Athreya. The cinematography of the movie is credible.
The director takes a lot of time to set up the characters and reveal the details of the movie. The pace of the movie is slow and is the only drawback of Agent Sri Srinivasa Athreya.
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya has been directed by Swaroop RSJ. The producer of the movie is Rahul Yadav Nakka. The music for the movie has been given by Mark K Robin.
The movie is a no-nonsense movie. It delivers what it promises. This crime drama is based on the superstitions of the people and how it can be used against them. It is an interesting and fresh thriller that can be enjoyed this weekend.
