Spirit, just listening to this word itself can make one have a cold spine running through. Then just imagine a person being possessed with two such spirits, and the way their house members need to deal with him isn’t that scary. The movie industry has started up with innovative ideas as in such where horror and comedy are clubbed. Sounds interesting, but the factor is that is this experiment really working on our audience. Yes at a certain point of time it does work but later on, depending on the storyline audience reaction is judged. Devi 2 movie comes under the same portal, trying to connect with the people out there with their strong storyline, but it just became a half baked pie without reaching the audience.
Vijay’s Devi 2 didn’t create the hype as the pre-sequel had done, having the lead role to played by Prabhudeva and Tamannaah Bhatia, they could have created wonders but it didn’t go accordingly. Now Prabhudeva is possessed with two spirits and here Tamannaah tries to help him get out of it with the help of her friend Kovai Sarala. Few of the scenes in the movie look so unrealistic, the death revealing scenes are underwhelming. Vijay needs to take a break and start to think over and then pen down the stories. No one can expect the actors to just take the wrong scripts and help the directors. The sequel of the movie Devi s really not worth.
Tamannaah just goes through a lot of embarrassing moments, here Prabhu Deva is possessed and they move to Mauritius leaving down their two-year-old child in India. When they reach Mauritius he’s possessed with two ghosts. The ghost part in the movie is a complete letdown and the comedy sector has really nothing to do with any jokes. This movie is completely let down by Vijay.
